Large Scale Mobilization

From 2007 NCS had a contract with NATO for the provision of fuel and fuel related services in HKIA, Kabul. In 2014 this contract was extended to include the other two main bases at Herat and Kandahar (KAF), making NCS the prime contractor for all fuel and fuel services to NATO (NSPA) in Afghanistan. This entailed a quadrupling of NCS staff and operation in less than six months, with a controlled implementation ensuring the mission critical uninterrupted supply of fuel and services.

Mobilization of added services:

• Process for fuel marking of NATO product was developed andimplemented providing product tagging prior to delivery in theatre
• Base Laboratory upgraded from B to A level
• Traceability system developed, integrated, and staff training on ground provided
• Equipment Service Management System developed, integrated, and staff training on ground provided
• Internal and external pipeline prepared for service
• NCS Staff ablutions facility upgraded following flood damage
• Herat Fuel storage solution upgraded
• Additional Aircraft Refueller Trucks sourced and supplied increasing operational capabilities in support of military aerial refueling aircraft fleet.
• Change-out program of aging NATO Fuel infrastructure, including fuel bladders and bund liners at HKIA completed as well as in KAF
